EPC is not a slogan. In hospitality projects, turnkey success depends on whether responsibilities are clearly written and measurable.
What a “real” turnkey package includes
Design coordination: room layout, elevations, material boards, shop drawings.
Mock-up approval: full-size guestroom or key samples before mass production.
Manufacturing + QC: batch control, inspections, defect documentation.
Export packing + shipment: packing marks, container plan, documents.
Site coordination: installation drawings, sequence, punch list support.
Where disputes usually happen
Interface points: who supplies lighting, appliances, sanitaryware and mirrors?
On-site conditions: storage, lifting, site protection and handover.
Change orders: how changes are priced and approved.
Conclusion: the best EPC contract is the one that makes scope visible, testable and repeatable — long before the first container ships.
